Creative & Media Domain Expert | Contractor | Remote | 5-Week Engagement
Turing is seeking experienced Graphic/Media Designers and Video & Audio Editors to create, evaluate, and refine creative content that supports cutting-edge AI research and training pipelines. This is a short-term, high-impact contractor role with immediate onboarding.

Role Overview
You'll bring creative ideas to life through compelling visuals, audio, and video — balancing artistic creativity with structured precision. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll deliver high-quality assets while documenting workflows and incorporating feedback efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality illustrations, videos, and visual assets based on creative briefs
- Produce multiple design, audio, and video variations while maintaining consistency in style and quality
- Perform screen/stream capture and creator video management
- Execute image editing, photo retouching, compositing, and image authoring
- Apply digital painting, brush engines, animation, and pressure input techniques
- Conduct non-linear video editing with multi-track timelines, effects, and proxy editing
- Record and edit audio and video content
- Document prompts, workflows, and asset metadata in a clear, structured manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback effectively
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Graphic/Media Designer, Illustrator, Visual Artist, Video Editor, Audio Engineer, or similar role
- Proficiency in 2+ of the following tools: GIMP, Krita, Inkscape, Kdenlive, Ardour, Audacity, OBS, Jellyfin
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across creative disciplines
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- MSc in Fine Arts, Illustration, Filmmaking, Production, or a related field
- Prior experience working as a Product Owner
Engagement Details
- Commitment: 40 hours per week with at least 4 hours PST overlap required
- Employment Type: Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave benefits)
- Duration: 5 weeks with immediate onboarding
