About the Project

The Creative Talent project collects rich, real-world data to help AI systems better understand human daily routines, activities, and social contexts. You'll wear a GoPro camera to record your daily work activities over 5 days within a 2-week period.

What You'll Do

• Wear a head-mounted GoPro camera during daily activities for 5 separate days within a 2-week window
• Record a minimum of 7 hours per day with flexibility to pause for privacy
• Spend approximately 2 hours each evening uploading footage, reviewing clips, and managing consent preferences
• Use a secure platform to delete, anonymize, or approve video segments

Ideal Candidates

• Work indoors in manual or creative professions (chef, baker, artist, carpenter, musician, electrician, mechanic, etc.)
• Self-employed or have employer consent to record in your work environment
• Non-customer-facing roles only (no retail or childcare)
• Comfortable with basic computer tasks and web-based tools
• Fluent English speaker

Household Requirements

• No children (under 18) present or visiting during recording
• All adults in the space must consent to being recorded and speak fluent English
• Private, self-contained living or work environment
• If recording with household members or coworkers, all participants must wear GoPros simultaneously

Technical Requirements

• Access to a computer and reliable internet connection
• Ability to upload and review video clips using web-based tools (training provided)
• GoPro camera and all accessories provided by Turing

Project Details

• Duration: 2 weeks (5 recording days)
• Time Commitment: 7+ hours recording per day, plus 2 hours for upload/review
