Creative Professionals – AI Data Collection Project | Contractor | India, Brazil, Colombia
Turing is seeking creative and manual-trade professionals in India, Brazil, and Colombia to participate in a short-term, paid data collection initiative. Over a 2-week period, participants will wear a GoPro camera to record their daily work and home activities, helping to train next-generation AI systems in perception, activity recognition, and social context understanding.

Role Overview
The Creative Talent Project is a pioneering data collection initiative designed to capture rich, real-world footage of human daily routines. Participants will wear head-mounted GoPro cameras during their workday and home activities. This footage will directly inform AI research into human behavior and environmental understanding.
Responsibilities
- Wear a head-mounted GoPro camera to capture daily activities across 5 recording days within a 2-week window
- Record a minimum of 7 hours per day (with flexibility for breaks and privacy pauses)
- Spend approximately 2 hours at the end of each recording day to:
- Upload footage to a secure platform
- Review short video clips
- Choose to delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment
Household Requirements
- No children (under 18) present or visiting during the recording period
- All adults in the space must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded
- Must reside in a private, self-contained apartment, building, or indoor work environment
- All household members must agree to appear in the footage
Participant Requirements
- Must work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or childcare)
- Preferably engaged in manual or creative work (e.g., chef, baker, artist, carpenter, musician, electrician, mechanic)
- Must be self-employed or have employer consent to record in the work environment
- Participants sharing a workplace or household should both wear a GoPro during activities
- Comfortable using a computer for basic tasks such as uploading and reviewing video clips
Technical Requirements
- Access to a computer and reliable internet connection
- Comfortable using web-based tools for uploading and reviewing footage (training provided)
- GoPro camera and all accessories will be provided by Turing for the duration of the project
