CS Chart Analysis Expert | $75–$83/hr | Fully Remote | Part-Time (~20 hrs/week)

Mercor is seeking a skilled Computer Science professional to author, review, and annotate technical tasks used to evaluate AI model performance. This role focuses on producing high-quality problem sets grounded in performance benchmarks, system architecture charts, and algorithmic complexity figures — helping shape the next generation of AI capabilities in computer science.

What You'll Do

• Author and review original technical problem sets based on CS performance benchmarks, system architecture diagrams, and algorithmic complexity figures
• Write clear, accurate reference solutions for each task
• Annotate and apply structured quality checks to ensure task integrity and accuracy
• Evaluate AI model outputs on computer science problems with expert-level precision

Who We're Looking For

• Education: PhD in Computer Science, or MS in CS with 3+ years of engineering, research, or teaching experience, or BS in CS with 5+ years of software engineering, systems, or applied CS practice
• Working fluency in at least two of the following: algorithms, systems, databases, networks, machine learning, or theory of computation
• Comfortable reading and interpreting performance benchmarks, system architecture charts, and algorithmic complexity figures
• Strong technical writing skills — able to articulate reasoning clearly and step-by-step in written form

Compensation & Commitment

• Starting rate: $75/hr, with advancement opportunities based on task quality and throughput
• Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours/week with a flexible schedule
• Location: Fully remote
• Type: Hourly contractor engagement
