CUA Datapack – Python Contractor | Full-Time Remote | Worldwide

Join a NASDAQ-listed software industry leader as a CUA Datapack Contractor. In this role, you will record screen activity while completing a variety of computer-based tasks, helping to build high-quality datasets that power next-generation automation and AI systems. This is a fully remote, contractor position requiring 40 hours per week with a 3-hour overlap with Central Standard Time (CST).

Key Responsibilities

  • Record screen activity while completing assigned computer-based tasks with precision and consistency.
  • Follow provided step-by-step instructions and documentation to execute tasks accurately.
  • Ensure all recordings are complete, high-quality, and free from interruptions.
  • Label or verify events such as clicks, keystrokes, and on-screen actions when required.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in documentation and file naming conventions.
  • Adhere to strict data privacy and confidentiality standards at all times.
  • Work across multiple domains including:
    • Data & Analytics: Dashboards and monitoring interfaces.
    • Software & Development Environments: Tool setup and configuration (no coding required).
    • Education & Productivity: Learning and organizational platforms.
    • General Use Cases: Browsing, document management, and settings configuration.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python for data manipulation, Excel, and basic data visualization using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Computer with 16GB RAM or above and a stable internet connection.
  • Strong ability to follow written documentation and execute tasks with precision.
  • Comfort navigating a wide range of computer applications and software environments.
  • Basic technical literacy — able to install or configure software using provided instructions.
  • Basic coding knowledge; familiarity with tools like Visual Studio or PyCharm is preferred.
  • High attention to detail when recording or annotating actions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow data-handling protocols.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in data annotation, QA testing, or user research.
  • Familiarity with productivity, design, or technical software environments.
  • Strong time management and self-organization skills in a remote work setting.
