CUA Quality Analyst | Contractor | Remote | 2-Week Engagement

Turing is seeking detail-oriented CUA Quality Analysts to support a high-impact AI training and data annotation initiative. You will play a critical role in ensuring annotation quality, training annotators, building process documentation, and driving operational excellence across AI training datasets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Review: Review annotated data, conduct periodic evaluations, and provide actionable feedback to ensure adherence to project standards, quality metrics, and SLAs.
  • Training & Onboarding: Train, mentor, and onboard data annotators on CUA project guidelines, workflows, and continuous learning programs.
  • Documentation & SOP Creation: Create and maintain training materials, annotation guidelines, and process documentation for project workflows.
  • Process Optimization & Calibration: Support pilot runs, calibration exercises, and resolve edge cases and rubric ambiguities in collaboration with QA leads and project managers.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify process gaps, recommend workflow enhancements, and ensure consistent alignment with project benchmarks and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Technical Setup: Personal computer with a minimum of 16GB RAM, stable high-speed internet, and access to Windows, Linux, or macOS capable of running project tools securely.
  • Core Competencies: Strong understanding of data annotation workflows, quality metrics, and human-in-the-loop AI operations; ability to follow detailed documentation and navigate complex software applications.
  • Preferred Experience: Prior experience on CUA projects, data annotation or labeling initiatives, and training or mentoring annotation teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent written communication for SOP drafting, strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strict adherence to confidentiality and data-handling protocols.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
  • Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred.

Engagement Details

  • Commitment: 40 hours per week, with at least 4 hours of daily overlap with the Pacific Time Zone.
  • Type: Contractor/Freelancer — task-based assignment (no medical or paid leave benefits).
  • Duration: 2 weeks.
