Data Analyst III at Mercor

Data Analyst III | $70–95/hr | Sunnyvale, CA

The Quality and Compliance team is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to provide technical analytics solutions for analyzing manufacturing and field data on RL Devices. This role combines advanced data visualization, business intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build rich and dynamic dashboards using out-of-box features, customizations, and visualizations with Tableau and SQL
• Explore and recommend emerging technologies and techniques to support and enhance the BI landscape
• Participate in ongoing development of business intelligence and data solution ecosystems within the organization
• Provide comprehensive summary documentation on all analysis results to stakeholders and leadership
• Identify gaps in current insight tools and integrate new analytics and tracking solutions to surface critical data
• Leverage SQL, Tableau, Workday, and Excel to drive analytics and enable client self-service on routine queries
• Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending actionable solutions
• Apply quantitative analysis expertise and data presentation skills to inform, influence, and execute business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver scalable solutions while influencing roadmap goals

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience building dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and SQL
• Strong quantitative analysis skills with ability to present data effectively to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical data solutions
• Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Workday, and Excel
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing strategic roadmap goals
