Data Engineer III | $80–110/hr | New York, NY

Join a high-impact data engineering team working within the Survey Warehouse and Measurement space. In this role, you'll design and build large-scale data solutions that power marketing insights for billions of users and hundreds of millions of businesses worldwide. This is a structured, full-time W-2 position employed through Cincinnatus, embedded directly within a leading technology company's internal team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Survey Data and Marketing Data Science teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions that improve marketing efficacy through automated reporting and insights
• Design and develop data models, pipelines, dashboards, and other analytic solutions supporting marketing programs and campaigns
• Solve complex data integration challenges using optimal ETL patterns, frameworks, and query techniques across structured and unstructured data sources
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, and marketers to surface key data insights in meaningful ways
• Architect data solutions for large-scale projects, evaluating design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs
• Implement security models aligned with privacy requirements, enforce data safeguards, and address data quality issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in a data-focused role such as data engineer, data analyst, or data scientist
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, ETL processes, data modeling, data visualization, and at least one programming language — Python preferred
• Experience in Marketing Analytics or Marketing Technology is a strong plus
