Data Engineering Expert | $60–100/hr | Worldwide Remote

Join AFTERQUERY in a short-term, project-based contract role designed for skilled data engineering professionals. Over the next 2–3 weeks, you'll tackle real-world data pipeline and infrastructure challenges asynchronously, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week per project you accept.

What You'll Do

• Complete hands-on tasks aligned with data engineering, ETL development, data infrastructure, and analytics engineering
• Work independently on assigned projects in an asynchronous, flexible environment
• Contribute to real-world data pipeline and infrastructure challenges across multiple project engagements

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a closely related field
• Strong proficiency in one or more of the following: dbt, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, or Redshift
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and deliver quality results
