Data Entry Keyer (AI Training)
Job Type: Hourly Contract (Remote)
Pay: $10–$30 per hour
Location: Remote (Applicants must be based in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada)
About the Role:
Mercor is seeking experienced Data Entry Keyers to create, review, and validate structured prompt-based questions to enhance AI model training. Your role will directly impact how AI systems interpret data, digitize records, and ensure accuracy in administrative and transactional datasets across industries such as healthcare, finance, logistics, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter, update, and verify structured information in digital formats.
Proofread and validate prompts, ensuring they adhere to best practices and standards.
Evaluate AI-generated responses to ensure effectiveness and accuracy.
Ensure data consistency, confidentiality, and integrity in high-volume workflows.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in data entry, transcription, or administrative records processing.
Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in data entry (alphanumeric and coded data), proofreading, and error-checking.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Role Highlights:
Flexible workload: Initially 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.
Fully remote and asynchronous—work according to your own schedule.
Duration: 1–2 months initially, with potential for extension.
Interview Process:
Complete an online AI-driven interview assessing your experience with data entry and digital record management.
Conduct a ~25-minute task where you'll share your screen to write detailed prompts and evaluate AI-generated responses. (Please ensure screen-sharing permissions are enabled on your desktop/laptop browser before beginning the interview.)
Applicants will be selected based on their interview performance and the quality of their evaluations.
Compensation & Legal Details:
This is an hourly contractor position.
Payments are issued weekly via Stripe Connect.
