Join Mercor, the fastest-growing AI startup, as a Data Scientist and help build the AI that powers smarter hiring decisions. In this role, you will drive impactful analyses and experiments to improve core product metrics such as match quality, time-to-hire, candidate experience, and revenue.

• Define key metrics for ranking, interview analytics, and payout systems.
• Design and execute A/B tests and quasi-experiments, delivering actionable insights quickly.
• Develop dashboards and data models for team self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with engineers to instrument events and enhance data quality and latency.
• Prototype models to improve candidate matching and scoring.
• Evaluate LLM-powered agents through rubrics, human-in-the-loop studies, and safety checks.

What You'll Bring:

• 0–2 years of experience in data science or analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in statistics, SQL, and Python.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate analysis into action.
• Bonus: Experience with dbt, dashboarding tools (Hex, Mode, Looker), marketplace/search metrics, or LLM evaluation.
