MICRO1 is seeking a skilled Subject Matter Expert in Data & Statistical Chart Analysis to contribute to an AI benchmarking initiative. In this role, you will help evaluate and improve AI systems by designing rigorous analytical tasks and assessing the accuracy of chart-based reasoning. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented researcher or analyst who thrives in a flexible, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret complex data visualizations and statistical charts with a high degree of accuracy
• Design clear, unambiguous questions and tasks for AI benchmark evaluation
• Apply multi-step quantitative reasoning to validate AI-generated outputs
• Ensure precise use of domain-specific terminology across all deliverables
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed remote team to meet project milestones

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong background in sciences research or a related quantitative discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in chart interpretation and statistical analysis
• Experience with question design and task construction for evaluation or assessment purposes
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to terminological precision
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous setting
