Debt Solutions Financial Consultant | $21–30/hr | Remote

Join Mercor, representing a leading AI lab, as a Debt Solutions Financial Consultant. In this role, you will empower clients in the United States to overcome credit card debt and achieve long-term financial stability.

• Assess client financial health, including balances, repayment history, income, and spending patterns.
• Develop personalized debt management plans using proven strategies such as debt avalanche, snowball, consolidation loans, and balance transfers.
• Advise clients on FICO credit scores, credit utilization ratios, and effective methods for improving their credit profiles.
• Stay current with consumer protection laws and credit regulations, including FTC and CFPB guidelines.
• Provide ongoing coaching and track client progress toward debt reduction goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Financial Advisor, Debt Counselor, or Credit Specialist working with U.S. clients.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. credit card market, repayment tools, and regulatory environment.
• Familiarity with FICO scoring models and credit bureau reports.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.

This is a part-time, hourly contractor position with flexible, remote work and weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
