Developer & Infrastructure Expert | $30–80/hr | Worldwide Remote

MICRO1 is seeking a skilled Developer & Infrastructure Expert to join a dynamic team focused on building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure and developer platforms. This is a contractor role ideal for engineers who thrive at the intersection of software development, cloud operations, and AI-powered tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab
• Support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Platform Engineering initiatives
• Orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Integrate and leverage AI agents and tools including ChatGPT, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork
• Configure and maintain Workplace Connectors and observability tooling
• Collaborate across teams using JIRA for project tracking and delivery

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure management
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, Claude Code, AI Agents)
• Experience with observability platforms and monitoring best practices
• Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows and DevOps principles

This is a fully remote contractor engagement with competitive hourly compensation ranging from $30 to $80/hr based on experience and expertise.
