DevOps Engineer | Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for enterprise clients. This is a senior-level role requiring a strong background in multi-cloud environments, with a preference for Azure.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional IT experience, with at least 8 years focused on cloud architecture and implementation
• Deep expertise in major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure (preferred), and Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of cloud networking — virtual networks, load balancers, application gateways, Private Links, and Private Endpoints
• Solid cloud security knowledge including RBAC, NSGs, encryption protocols, Managed Identities, and Service Principals
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, ARM templates, and Helm charts
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash
• Strong experience with containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes
• Demonstrated experience in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures for enterprise clients
• Develop and maintain cloud adoption strategies and technology roadmaps
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services tailored to specific business needs
• Implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance
• Design and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Optimize cloud performance and manage costs across multiple cloud platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, security specialists, and network engineers
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay current with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends
• Conduct regular architecture reviews and propose continuous improvements
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and processes
