Digital Imaging Specialist / 3D Artist | ~$7/hr | 12-Week Remote Contract | Up to 40 hrs/week

Turing is looking for creative and detail-oriented Digital Artists and 3D Artists to produce high-quality stylized assets for an AI model training project. This is a fully remote, paid contract role open to freshers, emerging artists, and experienced professionals worldwide.

Project Details

• Estimated rate: approximately $7/hour, paid in USD
• Duration: 12 weeks, fully remote
• Full-time up to 40 hours/week; part-time up to 20 hours/week also welcome
• Work begins after portfolio approval and onboarding

What You'll Do

• Create stylized 3D models and digital assets from briefs and references
• Work across styles including low-poly, voxel, handcrafted, and material-driven aesthetics
• Recreate textures such as clay, fabric, paper, and textiles
• Apply expertise in topology, UV mapping, lighting, shading, and rendering
• Produce consistent asset variations and optimize for production pipelines
• Document workflows clearly and incorporate feedback efficiently

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing stylized 3D work and material exploration
• Proficiency in one or more of: Blender, ZBrush, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D
• Familiarity with relevant plugins and scripts
• Understanding of NPR workflows, visual storytelling, and asset optimization
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and time-management skills
• Freshers and emerging artists are encouraged to apply
