Domain Expert – CAD (KiCAD) | Pay Per Task | Worldwide Remote | 5-Week Engagement

Turing is seeking highly experienced KiCAD professionals to create electronic design and PCB task assets for AI training. This is a short-term, pay-per-task contract role with an average handling time of 60 minutes per task and the potential for extension beyond the initial 5-week period.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will author templates and develop realistic electronic design and PCB task assets used to train AI models. You will work closely with Software Engineers to define evaluation criteria, build task verifiers, and ensure technical accuracy across all generated tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Author templates and realistic circuit and PCB task assets using KiCAD.
• Map application capabilities and define design evaluation criteria.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to develop task verification systems.
• Review AI-generated tasks for technical accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

• Advanced expertise in KiCAD and electronic design.
• Strong knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, routing, footprints, symbols, and design-rule checks (DRC).
• Experience with circuit design, component libraries, and PCB documentation.
• Ability to design realistic electrical and electronics engineering tasks.
• Strong analytical, reviewing, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and technical communication abilities.
• High attention to detail.
