Radiology Domain Expert (Visage 7) | $100–130/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking an experienced radiology professional with active, hands-on expertise in Visage 7 to contribute to a research initiative. This is a flexible, hourly contractor role ideal for radiologists, imaging technologists, or clinical PACS specialists who use Visage 7 weekly as a core part of their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Confirm that patient and study records accurately reflect observed findings — not assumptions — particularly on partial or handed-off studies.
  • Grade findings using structured reporting tools (e.g., TI-RADS, O-RADS) as of the current exam date, and document follow-up recommendations accordingly.
  • Distinguish preliminary measurements and annotations from finalized, signed report entries.
  • Assess case completeness: ensure all open items are resolved and the record is ready for sign-off or handoff to the next reviewer.
  • Verify that recorded outcomes are fully auditable and traceable through the system's audit-trail screens.

Required Visage 7 Knowledge

Image Interpretation & Measurement

  • Proficient use of measurement, MPR, and volume-rendering tools for diagnostic reads.
  • Application of integrated structured decision-support tools to grade findings and determine next steps.
  • Clear understanding of the distinction between working annotations and finalized report entries.

Patient & Study Records

  • Patient/study hierarchy and prior-study linking across imaging history.
  • Accurate recording of findings on partial or handed-off studies.
  • Setting and interpreting follow-up recommendations and flags.

Exam & Workflow Operations

  • Full study lifecycle: worklist assignment, interpretation, report generation, signing, and addendum.
  • Distinguishing preliminary entries from booked, signed report entries.
  • Identifying what is confirmed by the current study versus assumed from prior reports.

Reference & Configuration Data

  • Protocol and hanging-protocol setup, and how configuration affects modality/study display.
  • DICOM metadata handling and its impact on EHR/RIS integration.

Regulatory & Reporting Standards

  • Applying accreditation or reporting standards to assess study compliance.
  • Version/currency awareness — knowing which protocol applies to the current exam date.

Audit & Handoff

  • Documenting findings, conclusions, and open items clearly for the next reviewer.
  • Navigating reporting and audit-trail screens for case status and compliance tracking.

Requirements

  • Active Visage 7 use — weekly or more — in a current or recent professional role.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in radiology, medical imaging, or a related clinical-imaging function.
  • Reflexive familiarity with structured reporting tools, measurement workflows, and preliminary-vs-final distinctions.
  • Relevant clinical degree or certification (e.g., MD/DO with radiology board certification, ARRT) or equivalent hands-on PACS/imaging experience.

How to apply for this role
  • Upload your resume — keep it up-to-date and in English. Mercor will auto-fill your profile from it.
  • Complete the AI interview — a 15-minute conversation about your experience. Be ready to discuss specific projects and challenges you've solved.
  • Submit your application — only about 20% of applicants finish all the steps, so completing yours puts you well ahead.
