Mercor is seeking experienced Excess & Specialty (E&S) Insurance Underwriters with a strong background in SME and commercial account underwriting. This is a short-term consulting engagement with potential for follow-on work.

• Pilot cohort: 4 experts selected
• Duration: 1 week
• Commitment: ~20 hours per expert
• Rate: $90–$110/hr
• Strong potential for expanded, longer-term engagement

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 3+ years of E&S underwriting experience (5+ years preferred)
• Direct experience underwriting SME and commercial risks
• Solid understanding of risk selection, pricing, coverage structuring, and portfolio management
