Education Subject Matter Expert: Special Education at Mercor

Special Education Teachers, Secondary School (Educational Services)

Hourly Contract | Remote | $50–$100 per hour

Mercor is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers (Secondary School) to contribute to a unique research project with one of the world’s leading AI companies. This role allows you to leverage your professional expertise to help design high-quality, occupation-specific questions that will support the development of advanced AI systems.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years full-time work as a Secondary School Special Education Teacher

• Location: Must be based in the US, UK, or Canada

• Technology: Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported)

Role Details

• Flexible & Remote: Work asynchronously on your own schedule

• Time Commitment: Minimum of 15 hours per week

• Duration: Approximately 3–4 weeks once you begin

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and location (the posted range reflects U.S.-based applicants; international rates may vary)

Compensation & Classification

• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect based on logged hours

• Independent contractor classification (“at-will” with Mercor)

• Industry-standard rates for your role and background
