Electrician Expert | $50–$90/hr | Remote (US) | Async Contract

AFTERQUERY is seeking licensed electricians to help build the troubleshooting and code compliance scenarios that frontier AI labs use to evaluate model judgment on real-world trade work. This is a fully remote, asynchronous contract role with weekly pay.

Your expertise will directly shape how AI systems understand and reason through electrical diagnostics, NEC compliance, and field decision-making — meaningful work that bridges skilled trades and cutting-edge technology.

What You'll Do

• Develop realistic troubleshooting scenarios and code compliance challenges for AI model evaluation
• Document diagnostic reasoning clearly and thoroughly in written English
• Apply your field knowledge of the National Electrical Code to create accurate, nuanced test cases
• Work asynchronously on a flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week

Requirements

• Journeyman or master electrician license in a US state or jurisdiction
• 2+ years of field experience beyond apprenticeship
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Clear, professional written English for documenting reasoning and scenarios
• Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week

Compensation: $50–$90/hr, paid weekly. Fully remote and async — work on your own schedule.
