Elementary School Teacher — ONET Occupation Study | $30/hr | Remote (U.S. Only)

Mercor is building a more accurate, practitioner-informed version of O*NET — the U.S. government's framework for describing occupations. We're looking for experienced elementary school teachers to share their firsthand expertise and help reshape how this profession is officially documented.

What You'll Do

• Complete a one-time online survey or interview (up to 30 minutes) about your day-to-day responsibilities as an elementary school teacher.
• Optionally participate in a follow-up survey, task, or short interview, which would be compensated separately.

Who We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience teaching at the elementary school level (excluding special education).
• Currently working in the role, or having done so within the last 12 months.
• Direct, hands-on knowledge of lesson planning, classroom instruction, and classroom management.
• U.S.-based applicants only.

Not Eligible

• Kindergarten teachers (SOC 25-2012.00)
• Middle or secondary school teachers (SOC 25-2022.00, 25-2031.00)
• Preschool teachers (SOC 25-2011.00)
• Special education teachers at the elementary level (SOC 25-2056.00)
• Short-term or substitute teachers (SOC 25-3031.00)
• Teaching assistants or paraprofessionals (SOC 25-9042.00)
• Private tutors or homeschooling parents without formal classroom employment
