Mercor is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians for a paid, one-time occupational study aimed at improving the U.S. government's O*NET framework — the national standard for describing occupations and their associated tasks. Your expertise will directly shape how emergency medicine is represented at a national level.

About the Study

This is a brief, one-time online survey or interview focused on your day-to-day work as an emergency medicine physician. The session takes up to 30 minutes and is compensated at $115/hr. An optional follow-up survey or short interview may be offered separately with additional compensation.

What You'll Do

• Complete a structured online survey or interview about your clinical responsibilities and daily tasks as an emergency medicine physician.
• Optionally participate in a follow-up survey or brief interview (paid separately).

Who We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience practicing emergency medicine.
• Currently practicing, or practiced within the last 12 months, in an emergency department.
• Direct, hands-on knowledge of triage, clinical decision-making, and patient stabilization.
• U.S.-based practitioners only.

Not Eligible

• EMTs and paramedics.
• Nurse practitioners or physician assistants working in the ED.
• Registered nurses, including ER nurses.
• Urgent care physicians not based in an emergency department.
• Physicians in other specialties (family medicine, internal medicine, hospitalists) not practicing emergency medicine.
• Residents and fellows not yet practicing independently.
• Surgeons (all specialties).

This is a flexible, remote opportunity ideal for practicing emergency medicine physicians looking to contribute to meaningful occupational research with minimal time commitment.
