Turing is seeking experienced Employment and Labor Law professionals to help fine-tune cutting-edge AI models. In this role, you'll apply your deep knowledge of U.S. employment law to evaluate and improve how AI systems reason through complex legal scenarios — no prior AI experience required.

Role Overview
As an Employment & Labor Law Expert, you will review and evaluate AI-generated legal responses, identify reasoning gaps, and provide structured feedback to improve model accuracy. Your expertise in workplace discrimination, wage and hour compliance, ERISA, and labor relations is exactly what this project demands.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated responses to U.S. employment law hypotheticals, including Title VII discrimination claims, FLSA wage disputes, FMLA leave questions, and NLRA union activity scenarios.
- Apply a structured legal rubric to assess issue spotting, statutory accuracy, and proper application of agency guidelines (EEOC, DOL, NLRB).
- Identify gaps in AI reasoning around burden-shifting frameworks (McDonnell Douglas), employee classification, non-compete enforceability, and OSHA workplace safety.
- Provide detailed, high-quality annotations and written feedback to refine AI model outputs.
- Collaborate with researchers and project managers to align evaluation standards and project goals.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school; active or inactive Bar admission.
- 3+ years of U.S. legal practice in employment law, labor relations, or workplace compliance.
- Strong command of Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, ERISA, and NLRA.
- Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- High ethical standards; interest in AI is a plus but not required.
