Turing, the world's leading AI research accelerator based in San Francisco, is seeking a board-certified Endocrinologist to help fine-tune and improve large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT. This is a unique opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a cutting-edge AI development environment — all from the comfort of a fully remote setup.

What You'll Do

• Design and solve advanced clinical scenarios drawn from real endocrinology practice, including complex diabetes management, thyroid disorders, adrenal pathology, and pituitary diseases.
• Evaluate AI-generated medical responses for diagnostic accuracy, clinical judgment, and evidence-based reasoning.
• Identify knowledge gaps across endocrinology subspecialties such as bone metabolism and reproductive endocrinology.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow medical professionals to enhance model quality and reliability.
• Provide structured expert feedback that shapes next-generation AI tools for clinical and educational use.

Candidate Requirements

• MD or equivalent degree; active clinical practice within the last 3+ years.
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Endocrinology.
• Strong command of endocrine medicine — including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, and metabolic bone disease.
• Ability to communicate complex medical reasoning in clear, patient-friendly language.
• Excellent written and spoken English; familiarity with digital medical tools is a plus.
• Education from a top-tier institution (e.g., Harvard, Stanford, UCSF, Oxford, or equivalent).

Engagement Details

• Commitment: 20–40 hours per week (minimum 4 hours/day, with PST overlap preferred)
• Contract Type: Freelance/Contractor (no medical or paid leave benefits)
