Engineering & Data Tools Specialist | $40–85/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Engineering & Data Tools Specialist to join our team as a contractor. This generalist software engineering role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments and is comfortable working across development workflows, project management platforms, and data tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain engineering workflows using GitHub and Azure cloud services
• Manage and track project tasks and sprints using JIRA
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Metabase to support data-driven decisions
• Collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams through clear written and verbal communication
• Contribute to process improvements across tooling, documentation, and team workflows

Required Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Experience with Azure cloud platform
• Hands-on experience with JIRA for project and issue tracking
• Familiarity with Metabase for data visualization and reporting
• Generalist software engineering background with adaptability across tools and domains

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $40–$85/hr (based on experience)
