We are looking for a skilled and versatile Engineering & Data Tools Specialist to join our team as a contractor. This generalist software engineering role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments and is comfortable working across development workflows, project management platforms, and data tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain engineering workflows using GitHub and Azure cloud services
- Manage and track project tasks and sprints using JIRA
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Metabase to support data-driven decisions
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams through clear written and verbal communication
- Contribute to process improvements across tooling, documentation, and team workflows
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Experience with Azure cloud platform
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for project and issue tracking
- Familiarity with Metabase for data visualization and reporting
- Generalist software engineering background with adaptability across tools and domains
Compensation & Details
- Rate: $40–$85/hr (based on experience)
