Engineering & Technical Documentation Specialist | $40–50/hr | Worldwide Remote

MICRO1 is seeking a detail-oriented Engineering & Technical Documentation Specialist to support applied engineering projects by creating, interpreting, and evaluating high-quality technical content. This is a fully remote contractor role ideal for someone with a strong engineering background and a passion for clear, accurate documentation.

What You'll Do

• Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics with precision
• Develop and refine rubrics and instructional materials for technical training and evaluation purposes
• Perform data annotation tasks related to engineering and technical domains
• Ensure all documentation meets rigorous quality assurance standards
• Simplify complex engineering concepts into clear, accessible written content
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools and blueprint reading
• Strong background in technical documentation and schematics analysis
• Experience developing instructional or evaluation materials (rubric development)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to self-manage and deliver quality work in a remote setting
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

This is a contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $40 and $50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
