Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to recruit expert Environmental Science Evaluators. In this role, you will assess AI-generated research reports across climate data, pollution measurements, resource consumption, species population tables, and weather patterns — helping ensure accuracy, integrity, and scientific rigor in cutting-edge AI workflows.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking professionals with a strong foundation in Environmental Science or related disciplines, including:

• 2–3 years of professional experience in environmental science, ecological research, or sustainability analysis
• Hands-on experience with climate datasets, environmental monitoring systems, or pollution measurement reports
• Familiarity with resource consumption data (water, energy, land use) and biodiversity or ecosystem assessments
• Experience interpreting species population tables and weather pattern analyses
• Ability to source and validate environmental data from credible scientific and public sources
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written communication
• Comfort working independently in an asynchronous environment

Educational Background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Climate Science, Sustainability Studies, or a closely related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated research reports for accuracy, relevance, data integrity, and clarity
• Assess insights derived from climate data, pollution metrics, and resource consumption reports
• Verify species population data, environmental tables, and weather-related statistics using reputable sources
• Identify inconsistencies in environmental analysis, ecological reporting, and sustainability assessments
• Complete evaluations independently within assigned deadlines
• Maintain consistency and precision across all tasks

Role Details

• Commitment: Part-time, 20–40 hours per week with flexible scheduling
