AFTERQUERY is seeking experienced environmental scientists and engineers to build high-quality evaluation and training data for leading frontier AI laboratories. This is a fully remote, fully asynchronous contract role — work on your schedule, from anywhere in the world.
What You'll Do
- Develop expert-level evaluation and training datasets for cutting-edge AI systems
- Apply your professional knowledge to assess, critique, and generate technically accurate environmental content
- Contribute to AI model improvement across areas such as environmental assessment, permitting, compliance, remediation, and modeling
Required Qualifications
- Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, hydrology, or a closely related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in environmental work (assessment, permitting, compliance, remediation, or modeling)
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
