Exceptional Junior Software Engineer (Remote)
Hourly Rate: $50-$150/hr (Blended rate approx. $120/hr based on performance)
Location: Remote (Applicants must reside in the U.S., UK, or Canada)

As a Junior Software Engineer, you'll design and develop advanced database schemas, build robust APIs, and engineer realistic environments tailored for cutting-edge Reinforcement Learning models. Your contributions will directly impact globally utilized platforms for training and deploying state-of-the-art AI.
You're an ideal candidate if you:
Have 1+ years of software engineering experience in elite environments such as top-tier tech startups, quantitative trading firms, or hedge funds.
Hold a Computer Science degree from a prestigious university (U.S., UK, or Canada).
Are experienced in developing complex database schemas.
Possess expert proficiency in API development, including creation, testing, and integration.
Demonstrate advanced skills in SQL and database architecture.
Excel in meticulous problem-solving with exceptional attention to detail.
Have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Lead teams in designing advanced database structures and API systems.
Develop and implement secure authentication, policy enforcement, and backend solutions.
Generate realistic synthetic data for AI training environments.
Ensure application performance, security, and modularity.
Tackle unique challenges posed by Reinforcement Learning applications.
Flexible commitment: Initially 10-20 hours per week, with potential to scale to 40 hours.
Fully remote and asynchronous working environment.
Initial project duration of 1–2 months, with possibilities for extension.
Upon acceptance, you'll join one of our ongoing projects, compensated through a hybrid model combining hourly and commission-based pay, or commission-based only, depending on project specifics. Detailed compensation structure will be provided during onboarding.
