Exceptional Software Engineer opportunity with Mercor. Work remotely on a flexible contractor basis, earning $50–$100 per hour, supporting a world-leading AI lab in building robust, high-performance systems for next-generation machine learning applications.

Role Overview:

• Engage in real-world engineering tasks such as environment configuration, advanced database design, and development of scalable APIs and service layers for AI models.
• Flexible workload of 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.
• Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule.
• Initial commitment of 1–2 months, with potential for extension.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 1 year of elite software engineering experience in demanding environments (top-tier startups, quantitative trading, hedge funds, etc.).
• Degree in Computer Science from a prestigious US, UK, or Canadian university.
• Proven success leading teams in complex database schema design.
• Expert-level proficiency in API development, testing, and integration.
• Highly skilled in SQL and database structuring.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Legal:

• Hourly contractor role, paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
