We are seeking a skilled Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to support documentation, report generation, and compliance efforts within a federal and defense-oriented environment. This is a fully remote contractor role ideal for professionals with a strong background in military writing and Department of Defense procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality federal reports and staff documents in accordance with established documentation standards
• Evaluate existing reports and written materials for accuracy, clarity, and compliance
• Develop and apply grading rubrics to assess written deliverables
• Ensure all documentation adheres to Department of Defense procedures and compliance best practices
• Collaborate effectively with remote teams to meet deadlines and maintain consistency across deliverables
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through both written and verbal channels

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in military writing styles and formats
• Deep familiarity with federal documentation standards
• Experience in report generation, evaluation, and grading rubric development
• Strong knowledge of Department of Defense procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
