Film & Screenwriting Expert (Remote, Hourly Contract)

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research organization to bring onboard seasoned creatives specialized in film, television, playwriting, and songwriting. This project aims to enhance AI understanding and generation of creative content, dialogue, and storytelling structures. You'll have the unique opportunity to directly influence how AI learns and adapts narrative techniques from professional entertainment contexts.
Analyze, evaluate, and provide feedback on AI-generated scripts, lyrics, scenes, and sketches.
Deliver detailed annotations focusing on narrative structure, character development, tone, dialogue authenticity, and audience engagement.
Collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams to continuously refine and optimize project guidelines.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in screenwriting, playwriting, songwriting, or television writing.
Demonstrable credits in published or performed creative works (e.g., film, television, theater, music albums, digital streaming content).
Strong expertise in narrative structure, realistic dialogue, and effective storytelling techniques.
Fully remote and asynchronous position offering flexibility to work from anywhere.
Clear expectations of a commitment ranging from 20–30 hours per week.
