Finance Document Contributor at Mercor

Finance Document Contributor | $80–100/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking experienced finance professionals to contribute high-quality, human-made finance documents for a curated document review program. We are sourcing 10 documents for an initial sample review, with compensation of up to $100 per accepted document and the potential for ongoing, scaled collaboration.

Priority Document Types

• Investment memos
• Equity research reports
• Valuation and deal diligence materials
• Credit memos
• Budget variance and FP&A packs
• Audit and accounting reports
• Board or investor update decks

Document Quality Standards

Submitted documents must reflect genuine, professional-grade work. Specifically, we look for:

• Dense tables, footnotes, source notes, assumptions, and sensitivity analyses
• Polished typography, consistent margins, aligned tables and figures, and clear visual hierarchy
• Finish and substance consistent with 5–10+ hours of professional effort — quality and structure matter more than length
• Readiness for external, executive, legal, or investor audiences
• Restrained, finance-appropriate branding and formatting

Format Requirement

All submissions must be provided as true .docx source files. PDFs and lightly formatted drafts will not be accepted.

Eligibility & Exclusions

• Real-world professional work only — no synthetic documents or fabricated data
• You must have personally created the document and hold full legal rights to share it
• Documents must not be owned by a current or former employer, subject to confidentiality restrictions, or copyrighted by another party
• Exclude simple notes, short unstyled briefs, and lightly formatted drafts
• Do not submit multiple documents sharing the same template, letterhead, or style system

Privacy & Confidentiality

All submitted documents must be fully scrubbed of personally identifiable information (PII), confidential identifiers, and sensitive individual-level data prior to submission. Mercor is committed to respecting privacy, confidentiality, and intellectual property.
