Finance Domain Expert (LLM Trainer) | Contractor | Worldwide Remote

Turing is seeking a Finance Domain Expert to train and evaluate large language models (LLMs) on finance and accounting tasks. This short-term contract role is ideal for finance professionals with hands-on experience in tools like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Concur who want to shape the future of AI in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated finance and accounting responses for accuracy, logic, completeness, and clarity.
  • Create prompts, scenarios, and evaluation criteria for finance-related LLM training.
  • Identify errors in AI outputs and provide structured corrections and feedback.
  • Assess tasks involving journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, expense reports, payments, and financial statements.
  • Review workflows in NetSuite, QuickBooks or Xero, Bill.com, and Concur or Expensify.
  • Validate finance training data through annotation, labeling, and quality checks.
  • Document common model errors and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with AI, data, product, and finance teams to improve model performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, FP&A, accounts payable, or related financial operations.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Experience with Bill.com for AP or vendor payment workflows.
  • Experience with Concur or Expensify for expense reporting and reimbursements.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and expense classification.
  • Prior experience reviewing or creating AI training data, prompts, annotations, or model evaluations is a plus.

Engagement Details

  • Type: Contractor
  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Commitment: Minimum 30 hours/week (at least 4 hours/day with 4-hour overlap with PST)

Evaluation Process
