Finance & Research Analyst | $100+/hr | Worldwide Remote | Freelance (10–30 hrs/week)

Turing is seeking experienced finance professionals to collaborate with AI researchers and help improve the performance of frontier AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible freelance opportunity ideal for finance experts who enjoy solving complex problems and want to work at the cutting edge of AI development. No prior AI experience is required.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate large language models (LLMs) in areas of finance where performance gaps exist.
• Develop rubrics to assess model capabilities across your specific domain of finance expertise (e.g., deal analysis, M&A assessments, financial modeling).
• Collaborate with AI researchers and fellow finance experts to shape training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, Research, Trading, Quantitative Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Growth Equity, FP&A, Accounting, or Financial Consulting.
• Strong command of financial concepts relevant to your domain — including investment analysis, forecasting, revenue modeling, corporate finance, asset management, and risk management.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.

Bonus Qualifications (not required)

• CFA (Level I, II, or III)
• CA, CPA, or MBA in Finance

Engagement Details

• Commitment: Flexible, 10–30 hours per week
• Duration: Approximately 1 month, with potential extension based on performance and project needs
• Compensation: ~$100+/hour depending on experience
