Finance Specialist | $90–100/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking experienced financial analysis professionals for a high-impact project focused on corporate, market, and fund-level synthesis. This flexible, project-based engagement is ideal for experts with investment banking, private equity, equity research, or consulting backgrounds who excel at quantitative analysis and strategic evaluation.

Role Overview

Collaborate on an intellectually engaging contract opportunity reviewing financial statements and strategy documents to evaluate company performance and positioning. Work remotely on your own schedule for approximately 10–15 hours per week over a 2-month period, with potential for follow-on projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze company financial statements and regulatory disclosures
• Cross-reference narrative sections (Management Discussion & Analysis) with quantitative data
• Calculate key financial metrics including YoY revenue growth and performance indicators
• Identify and explain primary drivers of financial performance
• Deliver concise written analyses aligned with AI training objectives

Ideal Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, or management consulting
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and accounting principles
• Expertise in interpreting 10-K/10-Q filings and MD&A sections
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills
• Comfortable working independently with minimal guidance

Compensation & Terms

• Hourly rate: $90–100/hour
• Independent contractor classification
