Financial and Investment Analyst
Job Type: Hourly Contract (Remote)

About the Role:
Mercor is seeking Financial and Investment Analysts to create, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI models. Your expertise in financial modeling, investment research, portfolio analysis, and market trends will help ensure AI training materials are analytically rigorous, compliant, and aligned with industry standards. Professionals from asset management, equity research, investment banking, and corporate finance are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, review, and validate prompt-based questions and solutions for AI training.
Ensure content meets standards for analytical rigor, compliance, and clarity.
Leverage your professional experience to reflect real-world analysis of risk, asset valuation, and investment recommendations.
Ideal Qualifications:
1+ year of experience as a financial or investment analyst at organizations such as banks (e.g., Bank of America, JPMC, Morgan Stanley), hedge funds, private equity, or asset/investment managers (Fidelity, Vanguard, State Street).
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field from a top 30 undergraduate institution.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Excel, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Python, or R for modeling and analysis (preferred).
Role Highlights:
Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase up to 40 hours.
Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule.
Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with possibility for extension.
Role begins in mid to late-August; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Independent Contractor position.
Weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
