Financial Auditor
Mercor | Remote | Hourly Contract
Compensation: $75-$120/hour (depending on experience and location)
Mercor is seeking an experienced Financial Auditor to streamline client onboarding within our Financial Audit practice. In this role, you'll work directly with our product and customer teams to integrate client-specific workflows, configure AI-driven solutions, and translate complex financial reporting structures into our platform. This is a high-impact, hands-on position, ideal for professionals who have a strong auditing background combined with skills in technology and process optimization.
Lead the implementation and integration of financial statement workflows for new clients.
Translate and map client-specific charts of accounts and Excel templates into the Mercor platform.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, engineering, customer success) to identify and resolve onboarding challenges.
Engage directly with firm-level and engagement-level stakeholders to ensure accurate data configuration aligned with audit methodologies.
Provide feedback to product teams to enhance platform usability and implementation efficiency.
5+ years of professional experience in external auditing or financial reporting, preferably from a public accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and financial statement preparation.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience handling customized client financial templates.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with financial auditing tools such as Caseware or CCH.
Previous experience in SaaS implementation roles or technology-driven environments.
