Financial Risk Specialist (Remote Contract)

About the Role:
Mercor is seeking experienced Financial Risk Specialists to write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train advanced AI systems. Your deep expertise in market, credit, operational risk, liquidity management, and regulatory compliance will help ensure our AI models reflect current frameworks, analytical rigor, and industry reporting standards.

Who We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in financial risk management, compliance, or internal audit
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
Currently based in the US, UK, or Canada
Proven expertise in at least one of the following: market, credit, or liquidity risk assessment; risk control frameworks; stress testing or scenario analysis; regulatory compliance; or preparing risk reports for stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, or CPA
Proficiency with risk modeling tools and platforms

Candidates are selected based on interview performance and the quality of their technical evaluations.
