FP&A Expert (Fortune 500 Finance) at Mercor

FP&A Expert | $85–120/hr | Worldwide Remote | Part-Time Contract

Mercor is seeking senior FP&A and corporate finance professionals to design and build evaluation tasks for AI systems operating in Fortune 500 finance environments. This is a high-impact, flexible role ideal for experienced finance leaders who want to shape the future of AI in enterprise finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct realistic FP&A scenarios spanning public-company planning, 10-Q/10-K reporting cycles, earnings preparation, and board/CFO/CEO reporting packages.
• Build three-statement models, driver-based forecasts, and variance analyses at $1B+ revenue scale.
• Develop tasks covering capital allocation, M&A integration finance, treasury, and investor relations.
• Work with enterprise EPM platforms such as Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, Oracle Hyperion, and Pigment.
• Author evaluation rubrics that reflect the analytical depth and communication standards expected of Fortune 500 finance leaders.

Ideal Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance at a Fortune 500 or large public company — or in a finance advisory role serving F500 clients (Big 4, MBB, or top-tier investment banks).
• Direct experience with public-company reporting cycles, board-level materials, and enterprise budgeting at material scale.
• Fluency in enterprise EPM and financial modeling tools used in F500 organizations.
• Prior experience in rubric writing, training content, or technical authorship is a plus.

Compensation & Commitment

• Hourly Rate: $85–$120/hr, determined by Mercor based on demonstrated expertise.
• Minimum Commitment: 20 hours per week.
• Paid onboarding through the Mercor Rubric Academy, which calibrates contributors to the quality standard before live work begins.
• Strong contributors can advance into reviewer, lead, and domain SME roles with elevated compensation.
