About the Role:
Mercor is hiring experienced FP&A professionals from investment banking to join an AI research project. You’ll play a critical role in developing and evaluating advanced AI systems that mirror real-world corporate finance workflows. Your work will help calibrate AI models to better assist finance experts with daily decision-making and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Design realistic, high-quality prompts and evaluation rubrics grounded in corporate finance scenarios
Apply FP&A expertise to simulate professional judgment and communication tasks
Translate complex financial concepts into clear, structured exercises to test reasoning and analytical skills
Ideal Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in FP&A, ideally at top-tier companies (e.g. Netflix, Tesla, or similar)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Excellent analytical and writing skills
Project Details:
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 2 weeks
Commitment: Part-time, 8–40 hours per week
Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous; work on your own time
