Fraud Analyst – Content & Reviews Abuse | $35–55/hr | Onsite, India

Join a high-impact Trust & Safety team protecting a major consumer-facing platform from fraud and abuse. You'll investigate evolving abuse patterns, apply rigorous analytical methods, and collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations to safeguard user trust at scale.

What You'll Do

• Investigate complex, ambiguous fraud cases end-to-end, delivering data-backed conclusions that prioritize user trust
• Aggregate diverse data sources and signals to trace deceptive or manipulative activity and contribute to new detection experiments
• Produce clear, well-reasoned case documentation and observation notes that enable stakeholders to act on your findings
• Present analytical insights to senior stakeholders in a concise, accessible manner

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 4+ years of experience analyzing data — identifying trends, building summary statistics, and driving decisions from raw data
• 4+ years working on ambiguous, open-ended analytical projects from start to finish
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex policy concepts into plain language

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with how fraud and abuse evolve on online platforms over time
• Background in program or policy management, customer/merchant experience, or business strategy
• Exposure to content moderation, policy enforcement, or customer support
• CFE/ACFE certification is a plus
• Some familiarity with AI/ML or generative AI concepts

Work Setup

• Full-time, onsite in India — India Standard Time hours required
• Private, secure workspace required due to content sensitivity
• Prior experience working on a Mercor project is mandatory
