AFTERQUERY is seeking experienced fraud investigators to help build investigation scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and test model judgment. This is a unique opportunity to apply your domain expertise in a cutting-edge AI development context, working remotely and asynchronously with weekly pay.

What You'll Do

• Design and document realistic fraud investigation scenarios across domains such as payments, insurance, AML, and corporate investigations
• Apply professional investigative methods — including transaction analysis and interview techniques — to create challenging, nuanced case studies
• Clearly articulate investigative reasoning in written English to support AI model evaluation
• Collaborate asynchronously with a team building the next generation of AI safety benchmarks

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional fraud investigation experience
• Deep expertise in at least one fraud domain: payments, insurance, AML, or corporate investigations
• Strong command of investigative methodologies, from transaction analysis to witness interviews
• Excellent written English communication skills for documenting complex reasoning
• Availability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $70–$85/hr depending on experience
• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous
• Payment: Paid weekly
