We're seeking active business owners in the food, lodging, service, and retail sectors to contribute real-world expertise to an AI benchmark evaluation and product feedback project. Your hands-on experience will help refine AI-driven commerce tools, improve local search accuracy, and enhance merchant-facing digital platforms.

Project Overview

As AI models and digital commerce platforms increasingly rely on local business data, your authentic operational knowledge is essential. You'll independently evaluate merchant tools, audit local search representations, and deliver structured feedback to improve AI-driven systems used by businesses like yours.

Key Deliverables

• Feature Testing & UX Evaluation: Test newly deployed platform features, digital storefront tools, and AI recommendations designed for local business management and customer engagement.
• Search & Profile Auditing: Review AI-generated business summaries, search visibility responses, and mapping integrations to verify accuracy against real-world operations.
• Structured Feedback Generation: Deliver comprehensive, audit-ready feedback on platform usability, relevance of digital tools, and practical utility for local merchants.
• Anomaly & Context Reporting: Identify and document instances where AI models misinterpret business categories, service offerings, hours, or local market nuances.

Required Qualifications

• Active owner, operator, or primary manager of a business in food/beverage, lodging, local services, or retail shopping.
• Must have an actively managed, verified Google Business Profile associated with your business.
• Strong analytical and communication skills — able to clearly articulate UX friction points and actionable commerce feedback.
• Detail-oriented approach to evaluating digital workflows, consumer-facing data, and local search mechanics from a merchant's perspective.
