Frontend Engineer (React / TypeScript / GraphQL) | Full-Time | Worldwide Remote | PST Overlap Required

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Post Detail Page Experience team, you'll own the technical strategy and execution for one of the platform's highest-traffic pages — the Comments experience.

About the Team

The Post Detail Page Experience team is dedicated to making the comment consumption experience intuitive and delightful for every user. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where your work will be seen and used by hundreds of millions of people every month.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, data scientists, and engineering teams to build innovative features users love.
  • Drive the full development lifecycle: technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
  • Review code and design documents, provide feedback on product specs and mocks, and uphold engineering standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers, recommend best practices, and help improve developer workflows across the team.
  • Continuously grow your technical and non-technical skills in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of full-time, hands-on professional software development experience in frontend-focused languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6).
  • Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, LIT, or Polymer, along with solid CSS skills.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs.
  • Experience with distributed caching layers and large-scale data storage systems.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and deliver projects on schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fully remote setting.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — self-directed, innovative, and comfortable with ambiguity.
