Full-Stack Software Engineer (Testing & Evaluation) | $50–$100/hr | Worldwide Remote

AFTERQUERY is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Testing & Evaluation team. In this contractor role, you'll work on meaningful engineering challenges across the full stack, contributing to robust, well-documented, and containerized software systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions across multi-file, production-grade projects.
• Write clean, efficient code using modern programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, Rust, or C/C++.
• Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker or similar tools.
• Produce clear, thorough technical documentation to support team collaboration and project continuity.
• Participate in testing and evaluation workflows to ensure software quality and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, Rust, C/C++).
• Demonstrated experience architecting or maintaining multi-file software projects.
• Hands-on experience with Docker or comparable containerization technologies.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $50 – $100 per hour (based on experience)
