Funds Attorney | $80–105/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking an experienced Funds Attorney to join our legal team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal specialist with deep expertise in fund formation, fund management, and contract negotiations. You will play a critical role in structuring and advising on investment fund matters while ensuring all agreements are thoroughly reviewed and negotiated.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on and support fund formation processes, including drafting and reviewing fund documents
• Provide legal counsel on fund management matters, including regulatory compliance and governance
• Lead contract redlining efforts, ensuring accuracy and legal soundness across all agreements
• Drive contract negotiations with counterparties, investors, and service providers
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in fund formation and fund management within a law firm or in-house legal team
• Strong proficiency in contract redlining and drafting complex legal agreements
• Excellent contract negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes
• J.D. degree and active bar membership required
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

This is a fully remote contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $80 and $105 per hour, depending on experience.
