Funds Attorney | $90–150/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking an experienced Funds Attorney to join our legal team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional with deep expertise in fund management and formation, looking to work flexibly in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on and support fund formation processes, including structuring and documentation for various fund types
• Manage and oversee fund management legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
• Lead contract redlining efforts, reviewing and revising complex legal agreements with precision
• Drive contract negotiations with counterparties, protecting client interests while facilitating deal closure
• Provide expert legal counsel across a range of investment fund-related matters

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in fund formation and fund management law
• Strong proficiency in contract redlining and drafting complex legal documents
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage contract negotiations effectively
• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

This is a fully remote contractor engagement offering a competitive hourly rate of $90–$150/hr based on experience and qualifications.
