Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to improve how language models interpret and analyze video content. We are looking for detail-oriented contributors to annotate short videos by answering structured questions, helping refine AI understanding of visual media. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with strong academic backgrounds, excellent written English, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Watch and annotate videos based on provided client instructions.

• Answer structured questions with precision, consistency, and clarity.

• Flag videos with ambiguous or low-quality content.

Qualifications

• Current or former undergraduate or graduate from a top 50 U.S. institution (within the past 10 years).

• Strong written English proficiency and reading comprehension.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.

• Familiarity with online video formats such as explainers and social media clips.

• Comfortable working independently on repetitive or structured tasks.

Opportunity Details

• Fully remote and asynchronous; set your own schedule.

• Flexible commitment of 20 hours per week, with the option to increase to 40 hours.

• Short-term project with potential for additional work.

Compensation and Terms

• $45 per hour USD.
